Job Description:
LumenData is seeking an experienced Technical Consulting Manager with a strong focus on Informatica MDM, Cloud Data Integration (CDI), Data Quality (IDQ), and a solid understanding of data integration, data governance, and Master Data Management (MDM) solutions. This role will lead strategic data initiatives, engage in high-level client consultations, and manage a team of technical consultants to drive MDM projects from design through delivery. Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Strategy
- Lead and manage large-scale MDM implementations, ensuring alignment with client data strategies and business goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client technical consultations, defining MDM and data integration roadmaps that support overall enterprise data strategies.
- Partner with clients to assess data management needs, develop solutions, and ensure successful adoption of MDM platforms, including providing regular project updates.
Technical Leadership & Project Management
- Oversee project scoping, solution design, and execution across the MDM and Informatica ecosystem, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Lead a team of MDM consultants and developers, providing guidance and support on technical issues and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Implement best practices in Informatica MDM, CDI, and IDQ, ensuring adherence to LumenData's project standards and methodologies.
Solution Architecture & Design
- Architect and design comprehensive data integration and MDM solutions using Informatica's product suite, particularly focused on MDM and Cloud Data Integration.
- Design, develop, and optimize data models, integrations, and data workflows to ensure efficient and reliable data solutions.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders, technical teams, and data architects to ensure seamless implementation and scalability of MDM solutions.
Data Quality & Governance
- Establish and implement data quality and governance frameworks to improve data accuracy, consistency, and trustworthiness.
- Utilize Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) to profile, cleanse, and monitor data assets, ensuring data quality standards meet enterprise requirements.
Team Development & Mentorship
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering technical growth, client communication skills, and an understanding of best practices in MDM and CDI.
- Conduct performance evaluations, manage team workload, and facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to keep the team aligned with the latest trends and technologies in data management.
Requirements
- Experience: 15+ years in data management, with a minimum of 10 years working extensively with Informatica MDM, CDI, and IDQ solutions.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced expertise in Informatica MDM, CDI, IDQ, PowerCenter, and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in shell scripting and automation techniques to enhance operational efficiencies.
- Strong experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing MDM architectures, data models, and integrations.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead projects from requirements gathering through delivery, including scoping, budgeting, resource allocation, and client management.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in Informatica MDM or related technologies are highly desirable.
